HARLAN CROW FOOTED YET ANOTHER BILL FOR CROOKED CLARENCE THOMAS

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 4, 2023) — This morning, a new ProPublica report revealed that right-wing megadonor and billionaire Harlan Crow footed pricey private school tuition bills for a child in Clarence and Ginni Thomas’ care. The story is just the latest in the still-unfolding saga of gifts, vacations, and funds Crow has lavished on the Thomas family for the past 20 years.

“The definition of insanity is seeing the same Supreme Court justice violate ethics rules over and over again and expecting him to actually hold himself accountable,” said Sarah Lipton-Lubet, president of Take Back the Court Action Fund. “How many more examples of Thomas flouting disclosure rules do our elected leaders need to see before they intervene? Thomas needs to answer for his misconduct. It’s time to subpoena him.”
